SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) is a copolymer consisting of Styrene and Butaidene which is biggest category in synthetic rubber. SBR has excellent performance, low price, being able to replace natural rubber and used in tire industry. The characters of viscosity, elasticity, deformed heat build-up are not as good as natural rubber's but the properties of abrasion resistance, anti natural-aging, water resistance, air impermeability are better than natural rubber. Generally, the performance of SBR is better than others and used in a number of applications, such as conveyor belt, hose, anti-corrosive lining of equipment, rubber shoes, raincoat and so on. |
